Reaching up to the sky with a dynamic vertical architecture, the design for this modern farmhouse takes advantage of the narrow, hilltop corner lot and backdrop of trees. Inspired by a turn-of-the-century interior layout, the rooms are juxtaposed from each other. As a result, you can’t see more than one room away from you at a time, creating an expansive feel that belies the home’s true square footage. Cathedral ceilings feature contemporary nickel gap boards, while thoughtfully crafted moldings and details speak consistently from a distance and close-up.
