The clients approached us in 2019 having purchased property on scenic Lake Pleasant, NH. There were 2 structures on the property that were typical of 70s lake cabins, dated and not very conducive to lake living. The clients wanted a home that would work as a vacation property, and eventually their permanent residence.

We designed a home with a modern feel, but that blends into the lakeside landscaping. Materials like exposed steel beams were used for visual architectural interest and also contrasted with the softness of the natural exterior visual through large windows that take advantage of the sweeping lake views.

Building during the COVID pandemic in 2020 was a challenge, but the clients could not be happier with their lakefront retreat that is warm and inviting and reflects their casual lifestyle.
